The missions in Hitman 3 are filled with many paths for Agent 47 to take. However, when it comes to the mysterious switch in Dartmoor, the path isn’t entirely clear. These secret switches open up hidden areas that you can explore and use to get more information about the Carlisle family. Here’s what you must do in order to use a mysterious switch.
How to Use Mysterious Switch in Dartmoor
The mysterious switches in Dartmoor can be opened up using the Bulldog Cane found upstairs in Emma and Gregory’s room. Each mysterious switch opens a hidden door to a secret room, including one connected to Zachary’s room as well as one within the manor’s library.
Getting the cane isn’t too complicated. Once inside the house, head to upstairs and look for Emma and Gregory’s room. If you are lost or don’t know where to find it, you can always go to your map by pressing pause. The room is locked, but you can either pick the lock, break the door open with a crowbar, or walk around to the outside terrace. Just be careful not to let a guard see you and blow your cover.
The Bulldog Cane can be found in the bedroom near the entrance. Pick it up and take it with you. Despite the warning icon, you’ll be able to carry it openly with the right disguises, primarily the private investigator disguise.
Where to Find A Mysterious Switch
There are a couple of places to find a mysterious switch in Dartmoor. The first one you’re likely to see is near Zachary’s room, just outside the secret area you’ll uncover during the Means, Motive And Opportunity mission story.
More importantly, there’s another mysterious switch in the library, under a shelf on the wall opposite the windows. Use the cane on the switch to open up a secret room that has a few items and one crucial clue: Montgomery’s Long Lost Letter, which provides critical information regarding Emma. This is one of the main clues you’ll need to figure out who killed Zachary Carlisle.
That’s all you need to know in order to use a mysterious switch in the Dartmoor mission of Hitman 3. Simply pick up the Bulldog Cane and consider yourself a master of the manor. To learn more about Agent 47’s latest assassination-filled adventure, check out some of our other hot guides for Hitman 3:
