One notorious location for housing the darkest wizards and witches is Azkaban prison. Mainly, it’s a place to cast those who dabble in unforgivable curses. Despite the fact that it is one of the more evil and haunting parts of the magical world, many players are eager to cross it off their bucket lists. How to Enter the Prison of Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy
To enter the Prison of Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to be a member of the Hufflepuff house. That’s because Azkaban prison is linked to a side quest available only to players of this house. On that note, while the houses do not significantly alter the game’s content, each house does have one exclusive side quest for it. For players of House Hufflepuff, getting to visit the Prison of Azkaban is a part of their exclusive side quests. Hufflepuff players can visit the Prison of Azkaban around level 6. This takes place after you complete a mission where you save an elderly woman near Hogwarts Lake. After you finish this mission, your owl will bring you a note instructing you to go to the Hufflepuff common room and speak to a portrait of Eldritch Diggory. This activates a side quest where you play the role of a detective investigating an unsolved murder. It’s during this side quest that you ultimately wind up in the Prison of Azkaban.
The first step in completing this side quest is to travel north of Hogsmeade and speak with Helen Thistlewood about the unsolved murder. When you speak with Helen, she will apparate you to Azkaban prison so that you can continue solving the mystery.
