Hogwarts Legacy is fit to burst with references to the world-famous magical series. To be sure, this is the genuinely most fantastic way to experience the Wizarding World in the modern age! However, some aspects of the world are a bit frustrating to get to. The broom in Hogwarts Legacy is especially hard to grab! After some flight classes, you will want to have the ability to fly all of the time. And who could blame you? Thankfully, there’s a simple way to unlock this ability in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Unlock Broom in Hogwarts Legacy
In order to get your broom in Hogwarts Legacy, you must progress the main story quest through your flying classes with Madam Kogawa. Specifically, after your first class where you fly a lap, you can purchase your first broom! Head to Hogsmeade and go to the Spintwitches Sporting Needs shop. This store will allow you to purchase your first Broom, which you can use within any zone that doesn’t have the “No-Fly” sticker on it.
Thankfully, you can not miss the point where you can purchase your first broom. The flying class is story-based, so you will be forced to do it as part of story progression. Depending on how many sidequests you do, this could take a few hours. Be patient, and know that you can simply focus on the story to get your broom. You will have to purchase it for 600 gold, but selling excess gear should get you there quickly. Or, you can crack open some Eye Chests to find more!
Once you’ve purchased your Broom, you can begin the Flight Test side quest. Mr. Weekes will let you meet with Iselda Reyes to do challenge courses. Doing these side quests is recommended, because they will unlock your broom’s upgrades! These upgrades are quite expensive, but will boost your movement speed while on a broom! This’ll make future time trials much easier, and will make travel throughout all of Hogwarts even faster.
