When exploring the world of Horizon Forbidden West, some places net Aloy a lot of XP and Skill points. They’re out of the way and aren’t required for completing the game. However, if you’re the adventurous sort or a completionist, you’ll come across some of these ruins in the game. Inside the ruins, there are plenty of things to do. These ruins, however, are filled to the brim with puzzles and codes, and one of these ruins is Restless Weald. This puzzle challenge requires Aloy to open a door, but that door requires a code. Here’s how to complete the puzzles and find the Restless Weald code for the door.
What Is the Restless Weald Code in Horizon Forbidden West
The Restless Weald code is 1923. But first things first, you’ll need to make it to the Restless Weald Ruins before you can enter it. It’s located on the east side of the map, just a little north and to the west of Plainsong.
Aloy won’t be able to complete the puzzle without the Igniter tool. So, if you don’t have it, get it, and then come back. Once you’re there, it’s now time to complete the puzzle, and get the Restless Weald Code.
Once you make it to the ruins, you’ll have to scan a datapad, which will give you a clue, stating that the code is “the year the facility was built” however, the only other datapad says the same information, so you’ll have to do some looking around to complete this quest. To get to the answer, you’ll need the depot key. Push the train car, which will stand out from the other when scanned. Push it as far away from the ruins as possible. You’re going to be switching tracks.
Before you do that and push the car back, climb up and make your way across the tight rope to make it to the office depot key. Now you can switch the tracks, moving the car to the other side of the depot. After that, with everything placed and ready to go, looking around the ruins, you should find four numbers on a wall
Now, the wall says 1623, but the actual Restless Weald code is 1923.
Go back to where you found the data scans, and you should be able to climb up to the door above you and enter the Restless Weald code, in which you’ll take a zipline down to the depot, where the relic is. You can then use the card to leave.
