Swordfighter
The swordfighter job uses a broadsword as a weapon and a shield. In order to open this first boss, you will need to defeat the Chaos Advent boss. He drops the Broadsword and unlocks the first job.
It’s located in the first mission of the game itself. The location is called Chaos Shrine.
Swordsman
The Swordsman job uses the Great Sword. This is a default Basic Job, meaning that the player has the job right off the start.
Ronin
The Ronin Basic Job uses the Katana weapon. The Katana can be found in Pravoka Seagrot, which is the second mission for your character. Inside you will see a closed cube chest, open it and inside you will find and loot the Genbu Katana.
Pugilist
The Pugilist is similar to a Monk. A default Basic Job that is accessible from the very start of the game. One of your allies has this job and automatically you have it.
Marauder
This is a Basic Job that you can obtain by going through the second mission of the game and defeating Captain Bikke. He will drop you his Battleaxe and that is what will unlock this Basic Job.
Mage
The item for unlocking the Mage Basic job can be found in the Chaos Shrine. Close to the end of the Corridor of Fools. It is very close to the cubes. The set item is called Hermit Club. Obtainable through a cube chest.
Duelist
The Duelist is a Default Basic Job that you get from the very start of the game. With this job, you are dual-wielding daggers.
Lancer
The last job that you can obtain is the Lancer. With this Basic Job, you can use spears. You can loot the Halberd in the Chaos Shrine right next to the door to enter into the next stage.
