How to Madonna in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2

Madonna

Vicarious Visions has made Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 as loyal to the original games as possible. Similar to the PS1 titles, the remake has a lot of challenges. One such challenge is to “Madonna the Huge Water Hazard Gap” on Downhill Jam. The game doesn’t hold your hand on either of these, so it can be tricky if you don’t know where to go or how to Madonna. Thankfully, neither are too hard with a bit of timing and map awareness.

How to Madonna the Huge Water Hazard Gap

In order to do a Madonna in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, you must do a combination of buttons, which change slightly per platform.

  • PlayStation 4: Upper Right (Diagonal) + Circle
  • Xbox: Upper Right (Diagonal) + B
  • PC: W + D + 6

Additionally, if you changed your controls or keybinds, you’ll want to press the controls for an Upper Right (Diagonal) + Grab.

The Huge Water Hazard at Downhill Jam is near the beginning of the map. In order to get there, move down the course a bit. After a few seconds (like 5-10 seconds), you’ll see two long rails that cross over a gap on the right of the course. They’re fairly thick, so it won’t be too hard to see them.

Start with a grind on one of the rails. Then, you can jump and Madonna once you think you’re fast enough. Hold the Madonna until you’re over the gap. Once you’re over it, then let go of the trick. Because of the game’s trigger system, it’s really easy to let go too early or to jump too late and not get credit for the jump. So, don’t worry too much, and if you don’t get it at first, just give it another shot. After a few tries, you’ll land the trick!

And that’s all for our guide to Madonna the Huge Water Hazard Gap in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2. If you’re interested in other in-game tricks, check out our other guides.

Don’t forget to wear a helmet!
