The YoRHa universe is absolutely wild, and NieR Replicant (the prequel to Automata) is no different. This bonkers storyline will bring you up to speed with NieR‘s universe, and will hopefully bring some secondary characters to light. If anything, it’s a really cool RPG that’s definitely worth trying out. Speaking of trying out, the Xbox Game Pass would be the perfect way to play the NieR Replicant remake if you’re worried that you won’t like the gameplay. So, will we be getting NieR Replicant on Game Pass?
Will NieR Replicant Be on Game Pass?
No, NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is not currently on Game Pass. Because of that, you cannot get it for free if you own the pass quite yet. This does not mean that it won’t be coming to the service in the future, but just that it’s not on it on release. We will have to keep our eyes peeled for the chance to get it in the future.
Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is not a Game Pass release game. Nier:Automata is a different story; that incredible game is on the service, and can be played at whim right now (though, it has a few problems on PC. Keep that in mind!). Replicant is not quite there yet, but the fact that Automata eventually did come to the Pass suggests that Replicant might get there eventually.
That being said, be careful about getting the game through Game Pass on PC right now. Replicant suffers from doubled internal logic on PC that’s attached to a high frame rate. Lock your graphics card’s frame rate if you plan on grabbing it on PC!
Currently, the NieR team has made no comments about Replicant coming to Game Pass or releasing a fix for the incredibly high framerate issues on PC with Automata. Hopefully, this is not a sign that there are no plans at all for either.
