Is TikTok Banned in Russia? What We Know So Far

Many TikTokkers have been banned from using the application due to making videos related to war. The platform has its own rules and regulations. But it questions everyone if TikTok is going to be forever banned in Russia due to the current situation.

As of right now, TikTok has only limited the access of Russian users. Starting on Monday, ByteDance, the company that is powering TikTok has spoken with the European Union and decided their actions.

TikTok believes that this action will wake up some of its users to realize what is going on with the world and put an end to this war. It’s also a move made to prevent certain users to make revenue off TikTok, which will lower the value of the Russian Ruble in the future.

For now, the limits will be minimal for Russia. Only time will tell if they will fully get banned or things may go back to normal.
