Lost Ark is filled with various quests to complete. You’ll encounter the Carrot and Stick Quest after speaking with the injured Kir in Lost City. Unlike more demanding quests, this one only requires a little bit of time spent angling. The only catch is that you’ll need to start fishing in a specific location. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Complete the Carrot and Stick Quest in Lost Ark
The Carrot and Stick quest kicks off after completing the Fearsome Man-Eating Monster quest. To begin the quest, find Injured Kir in the Lost City zone. You’ll then be tasked with asking Kir if he knows of a secret fishing spot. Afterward, Kir will reveal where the fishing spot is.
This is where things becomes tricky. The location of the secret fishing spot is hidden behind a breakable wall, which is right between the two dead ends on the left side of the Lost City map. There are also two treasure chests that can be found directly in front of the breakable wall.
Use an attack to break down the wall, then enter the secret fishing spot. Once you’re there, start fishing for White Belly fish. You’ll have to catch three of them in order to complete the quest, so keep at it until it’s done.
Once you’ve snagged all three, it’s time to make your way back to Kir. After you’ve given him the fish, you’ll have one more thing left to do. You need to cheer for Kir. All that’s required is to use “/cheer” to play the cheer emote, which will then end the quest.
