Lost Ark is a game where 50% of the time you will be on your ship and sail from one island to another. In order to sail you are going to need to obtain a ship and build it. By building it I mean attaching different builds to your already claimed ship. Some beginners may find it difficult to find parts on how to upgrade your ship and make it stronger.

How to Build, Unlock and Upgrade Ships – Lost Ark
As you progress in the game you will have the main storyline quest that you cannot evade or abandon. That quest will give you the opportunity to unlock your first ship and set sail for the first time in the seas of Lost Ark. From that point on you will travel to new Islands where you meet other NPC’s and discover various events and quests that may grant you unique ships.
There are different types of ships in the game, some are more resistant than others, some tend to deal more damage and others are faster but can be destroyed fast.
There are a total of 8 ships in Lost Ark, which are:
- Estoke
- Eos
- Barkstorm
- Pnuma
- Brahms
- Tragon
- Ghostship
- Astray
All these ships are different from each other, chose one that fits your playstyle.
How to Build & Upgrade Ships
In order to upgrade your ship, you will be needed to have Ship upgrade materials. There are a total of 4 Ship upgrade materials, which are:
- Normal Ship Parts Material
- Uncommon Ship Parts Material
- Rare Ship Parts Material
- Epic Ship Parts Material
All these Ship Parts Materials are useful for upgrading your ship in your desired need. You can purchase these materials from the main cities. You need to look for a Processor, which holds different types of materials, not only for ships.
Once your materials have been purchased, you can open your ship menu, and with the cost of some materials, you will be able to upgrade your ship and continue on with your sailing!
