The Rohendel Phantom Palace is a dungeon where you are needed to defeat the wicked Brelshaza. This is a long dungeon that has many levels and a chess puzzle.
Finishing a chess puzzle will open up a portal to the Phantom Palace and defeat two bosses. For some players this can be a difficult puzzle to solve, the reason being that not all of us know how to play chess.

Rohendel Phantom Palace Chess Puzzle – Lost Ark
The first chess puzzle is simpler which will require you to only make one move. And that is to move the Knight next to the left Pawn that is on the playing field. In the middle of the playing field, you will see two Pawn pieces and a Knight.
Once you have placed the Knight to its proper position, all the chess pieces will descend into the ground and a giant purple Knight piece will ascend from the ground. The giant piece will charge west towards the first wooden gate and open a portal to the Phantom Palace where you must defeat the Phantom Legion Knight.
The second puzzle will require you to make two moves. The pieces that need to be moved are the Queen and a Pawn piece. The Pawn piece needs to be placed right next to the other middle Pawn piece. And move the Queen two spaces down from where the Tower is in the right corner.
Once those two steps have been made, all the chess pieces will descend and a giant purple Queen piece will ascend from the ground, charging towards the east door and opening a portal to the Phantom Palace. There you will find the Phantom Legion Queen which you must queen in order to continue off in killing Brelshaza.
