Madden 23 has arrived and players are ready to hit the griddy and taunt their opponent. However, the celebrate mechanic has changed from the previous entry, so you’ll need to make sure you’re up to date on the new controls before you strike a pose in the endzone.
How to Celebrate in Madden 23
To celebrate in Madden 23 hold LT + RT + A on Xbox, L1 + R2 + X on PlayStation, and L-Mouse Button + L-Ctrl on PC. If you’re about to score on a big play, then you may want to pop off with one of the taunts and celebrations in Madden 23.
Additionally, when you score or make a big play, you’ll occasionally be given the option to choose from one of four celebrations. For this, you simply need to select the on-screen option. These will be different each time and will vary based on the player. Further, each player has a signature celebration that you can select so don’t be afraid to change it up.
It’s important to note that some of the controls have changed from last year. So if you’re a veteran player, the old controls have been adjusted and you’ll need to make the necessary changes if you’d like to hit the griddy or celebrate a touchdown.
One important thing to remember about taunting while running with the ball is that it slows you down and makes you more likely to fumble. So be sure cautious when you celebrate. If you do it too soon and the defender catches up to you, then you’re at major risk of fumbling the ball.
If you’re a big online player, you’ll likely see other players celebrating quite often. So, you’ll definitely want to join in on the fun when you get a big play. Just remember, don’t dish it out if you can’t take it!
