MHW Gold Melding Ticket

Gold melding tickets are one of the best ways to collect Armor Decorations in Capcom’s Monster Hunter World. Fortunately, there are a few different ways to collect them. So, if you are in need of new Armor Decorations, you can find a comprehensive guide on how to get the MHW gold melding ticket below.

As mentioned above, there are three different approaches to collecting gold melding tickets in Iceborne. Your first option is to combine VIP Joyful or VIP Gratitude tickets into gold melding tickets at a 10:1 ratio.

You can also get one gold ticket daily from the Steamworks overdrive bonus, which resets with the daily bounties. Otherwise, you will need to rely on a bit of luck to get the gold melding ticket from the Steamworks as a Red Tier Reward.

To recap, here are the three different ways to get a MHW gold melding ticket:

  • Elder Melder: Melding 10 VIP Joyful or 10 VIP Gratitude tickets (1 Gold Melding Ticket per 10 VIP Tickets)
  • Seliana: Steamworks daily overdrive bonus (1 Gold Melding Ticket per day)
  • Seliana: Steamworks Red Rewards Tier

While the Steamworks is simple to use, it requires a decent amount of fuel to farm gold melding tickets. So, if you plan to use this method, it helps to have plenty of ore for fuel in advance. Likewise, reaching overdrive for the first time after the daily reset will net one gold melding ticket, so it’s at least worth helping the Steamworks once per day.

On the other hand, exchanging VIP tickets for gold melding tickets is a little more involved. First, complete Master Rank quests or help low-rank players with SOS missions to receive VIP Joyful and Gratitude tickets. Thankfully, the Astral Armor Set grants a bonus chance of receiving the VIP tickets. Once you have enough tickets, head back to the Elder Melder in Astera to get your MHW gold melding tickets!

Where to Use Gold Melding Tickets in Iceborne

MHW: Iceborne introduced new ways to find armor decorations, such as the melding tickets. In fact, the gold melding ticket can be exchanged for Rarity 10 and 11 Decorations at the Elder Melder in the Astera Tradeyard.

While the rarity 11 decorations appear less frequently, gold melding tickets are still one of the most efficient ways to collect them.

Now that you know how to get the MHW gold melding ticket, it’s time to stock up on Steamworks fuel and complete Master Rank quests! Which Armor Decorations are you hoping to receive once you have your gold tickets?
