Completing this quest is actually quite simple. The first thing you need to do is talk to Senri the Mailman, a quest NPC located in Kamura Village. Here, select “Add-on Content” and collect “Rising Sun!?” from the list. You need to do this to add “Rising Sun?!” guest to your quest board.
After doing this, you need to go to the Gathering Hub in Kamura Village and find Minoto the Quest Maiden. . After you find this NPC, start talking with her. Click on “Event Quests” on the screen that opens and select the “Rising Sun?!” quest under the “Low Rank” section.
This quest does not involve any combat and is essentially a gathering quest. Therefore, it is a task that you can easily handle. Now, after receiving the quest, you have to do the following in order.
Your task is to go to the Shrine Ruins and collect 21 Sun Goddess Pictures. You can find the locations of each picture marked on the mini-map. In a few minutes, you can go to these marked places and collect the pictures.
After collecting the pictures, you have successfully completed the task. At the end of the quest, you will receive a “Celestrial Scroll”. This scroll will allow you to forge Ammy Layered Armor. On the other hand, you need 4 Celestrial Scrolls for Ammy Layered Armor. For this reason, you need to complete “Rising Sun!?” successfully in a couple of times.
You also need two Fur Scraps to forge armor. To obtain Fur Scrap, you need to slave the Bullfangos in the Shrine Ruins or the Flooded Forest and get Bullfango Pelts. Then, you can turn Bullfango Pelts into Fur Scrap in Buddy Smith.
Congratulations! You now have all the items needed to forge Ammy Layered Armor. After you forge Ammy Layered Armor on Buddy Smith, you can equip your Palamute with this armor and transform it into Okami’s protagonist.
