NBA 2K23 is the latest installment in 2K’s popular basketball series. With new features such as the Jordan Challenge coming to the game, many fans are eager to get their hands on the revised title. However, as with every annual release in the 2K series, a new game comes with a hefty price tag that many gamers are unwilling to pay right away. As a result, many gamers are wondering if NBA 2K23 is available on Game Pass. And, if not, when will it be available on the subscription service? We have the answers to those two questions right below.
Is NBA 2K23 Coming To Game Pass?
Unfortunately, NBA 2K23 will not be available as a Game Pass day one title. On top of that, 2K Games hasn’t stated whether or not the game will be available on the service. But, that doesn’t mean there’s no chance for it to become a Game Pass title in the future. Both NBA 2K21 and NBA 2K22 were added to Game Pass roughly six months after their initial release. And, if history is any indication, this will most likely be the case for NBA 2K23.
With that in mind, you can expect NBA 2K23 to appear on Game Pass sometime in March of next year. And to tread that path even further, the previous two entries were added to Game Pass in March and stayed for six months before being removed in August. That’s just one month before the next installment is set to release. So, if we had to guess, we’d say the same is most likely true for NBA 2K23. 2K Games hasn’t confirmed this timeline, but it’s a safe bet.
That is why, if you are desperate to play the latest 2K game and simply cannot wait, it may be worthwhile to pay full price for the game. Because you’ll most likely be twiddling your thumbs until March 2023. Because that’s when we expect NBA 2K23 to arrive on Game Pass.
