If the level of these gathering professions is not high, it will be very difficult to increase your Arcana level. In this article, we will explain in detail how you can level up the Arcana profession quickly and how you can access the resources necessary for Arcana.

What is the Arcana Profession? What Does It Do?
As we mentioned at the beginning, Arcana is a profession where you can produce various weapons and potions. You can produce various Legendary Fire Staffs and Ice Gauntlets, especially at high levels in Arcana. In addition to these, there are alchemy resources called “essence” in this profession. These essences are especially used for crafting Tier 4 level and above gems. This point is absolutely crucial. We explained how important Tier 4 level and higher gems are in our New World Ultimate Gem Guide.
Finally, Arcana is most commonly used for crafting potions. Potions under the name of Health, Mana, Weapon Coatings and Resistance Consumables provide various bonus features to your character. Maybe this is the most important part of the game. Because every buff you earn in PvE and PvP will put you one step ahead of your competitors.
The Most Commonly Used Materials for Arcana Profession
At this level, where you have just started the Arcana profession, the side professions you will need the most is Harvesting and Mining. Because you need various medicinal herbs to produce Health and Mana Potions. You know how much mana you need, especially if you’re a Fire or Ice gauntlet player. At the same time, various Mining, Skinning and Harvesting items are required for potions used to get extra buffs for your weapons. These resources are:
Harvesting
- Hyssop
- Bulrush Cob
- Briar Buds
- Lifebloom Stem
- Sporebloom Fruit
- Glowing Mushroom Cap
- Platecap Flesh
- Toadpot
- Petalcap
- Rivercress Stem
- Gillflower Gills
- Bumbleblossom
- Suncreeper Tendril
- Tanglewisp
- Soulsprout Stem
- Lifebloom Leaf
- Lifebloom Flower (Tier 4)
- Lifemoth Eyes (Tier 5)
Mining
- Oil
- Gleaming Lodestone
- Loamy Lodestone
- Crystalline Lodestone
- Shocking Lodestone
- Freezing Lodestone
- Molten Lodestone
- Putrid Lodestone
Skinning and Fishing
- Halibut Viscera

- Paddlefish Gills
- Dragon Fish Jaw
- Spinefish Fins
- Piranha Tooth
- Starfish

There are dozens of crafting materials that we haven’t written yet but should be used. However, we chose to list the most frequently found and used materials compared to others.
Note: Most of these materials will drop depending on your luck while gathering. In short, these items do not have a clear farm location. You can also get some mines or flowers when you collect them.
Arcana’s Product Efficiency
As in every profession, the higher your Arcana level, the higher the efficiency you will get while producing the products. However, this feature only applies to consumables. So it does not apply to the weapons you produce. For example, when producing Weak Health Potion, as you can see in the picture, my bonus chance is 6%.

The reason is this. If your Arcana profession is at level 100, you will have a 10% chance of obtaining extra items. In this photo, our character can get 6% bonus items with 60 Arcana levels. It is very important for you to know such details, especially about making gold farm.
Arcana Fast Leveling Guide
Beginner Leveling (1-50)
It’s always extremely easy to level up fast at these levels. All you have to do is determine a farm area where you can harvest and go and collect flowers. If you want to increase your Arcana level to 50 quickly, you must produce 460 “Common Health Potion” together with the “Lifebloom Stem” you will collect here. If you have difficulty in farming or do not want to spend time, you can buy it at the Trading Post for an affordable price.
Location – Windsward: As you can see on the map, there are Lifebloom Flowers in many areas. We have marked the best location we recommend for you to collect this flower in red. When you start collecting from anywhere in this selected region, you will see that the flowers respawn when you come back to the first place.

Intermediate Leveling (50-100)
As you can understand from the beginner level, while increasing the level of your Arcana profession, you also meet the needs of your character. You will need various numbers of potions from the beginning of the game to the end. You can see how important it is for you to actually level up the Arcana, as we are constantly producing potions in leveling. Now let’s see how we can make our Arcana level 100. At this point, we continue to produce mana and health potions. We need to produce a total of 960 mana or health potions. Now we have three recommendations for you.
- If you are playing Fire, Life Staff or Ice Gauntlet, you should definitely produce “Strong Mana Potion”.
- If you are a Tank player, you must produce “Strong Regeneration Potion” or “Strong Health Potion”. If you do this halfway, it will work better.
- If you are playing different classes than the classes in our two suggestions, after 20 levels, you should determine what you need most as a solo player and produce it.
If you have made your decision so far, another thing you need is that your mining profession is level 50.
There are two items you need to craft a Strong Healing and Regeneration Potion. These are “Gleaming Lodestone” and “Petalcap”. “Twistcap Spiral” and “Crystalline Lodestone” are required to produce Strong Mana Potion.
Gleaming Lodestone Farming Location
This area is a point where level 40-45 mobs are located between “Great Cleave” and “Brigthwood.” Lifejewel is the best area to farm. However, you can farm a little slow as it is a region with a lot of mobs.

Petalcap Farming Location
If you examine the image below, you can see how easy Petalcap farm is. Our particular recommendation is the region we marked with a red area. Because in other regions, you cannot farm because players are actively mining and harvesting.

Twistcap Spiral Farming Location
This resource is only available around Brightwood.

Crystalline Lodestone Farming Location
You will need to mine the Crystalline Lodestone “Soulspire”. Soulspire usually spawns in the “Mourningdale” area, where mobs from level 45-50 are located.

Advanced Leveling (100-200)
The best way we can suggest for high level leveling is still generating mana and health potions. Because in order to increase your Arcana level to 200, you have to navigate the maps with 50+ mobs. This means high HP and high mana requirements. You need hundreds of mana and HP pots to use for this.
- First of all, after reaching level 100, you need to produce Powerful- Infused Health Potion and Powerful- Infused Mana Potion.
2.To Produce Powerful- Infused HP, you must mine the “Soulspire” we suggested above. The Soul Motes you get from there will be your main crafting material. Likewise, the Petalcap regions we recommend are the only resource you need to craft two items. Another requirement is Azoth Water. To obtain this item, you need to collect “Azoth Spring”. Azoth Spring is most commonly found in “Reekwater”, which is level 58-60. The area we marked is an area with extremely high mobs. Be careful while farming.

3. Now for Powerful-Infused MP. The first item you need to produce Powerful MP is the “Soulsprout Flower”. Other items are the “Twistcap Spiral” and “Soul Mote” that we suggested above. Likewise, you will need to use these two items while producing Infused MP. Finally, to farm Soulsprout Flower, you can specifically farm in the following region.

4. And finally, the most essential item you need to craft an Infused MP is two Tier 5 level materials. One of them is “Soulwyrm Tongue” and the other is “Dragon Fish Jaw”. We advise you to collect “Soulwyrm” for tongue and “Large-Medium-Small Dragon Fish” for Jaw and salvage by catching fish.
What are Mote, Wisp, Essence, and Quintessence? What Does It Do?
These four items are very common alchemy materials, especially for the Stonecutting, Arcana, Engineering and Furnishing professions.
Motes
Motelars are especially important for Tier 2 level gems that you can craft from Stonecutting. You also need a lot of motes to craft Wisp in Arcana.

Finally, in order to craft Wisp, you must have Arcana Repository Tier 3 and Arcana level 25.

Concoctions System
There are potions in Arcana that affect the main mechanics of the game. You will understand better why it is so important to maximize the Arcana profession when you learn the contents of the potions. Concoctions are divided into 3 between them.
- Potions
As the name suggests, they are potions that give varying amounts of Health and Mana, depending on their Tier level. They can be considered as one of the items that you will need the most during the leveling phase of the game.
- Weapon Coatings
These are potions that increase the damage you give to mobs in the game according to the amount of damage your class deals. For example, you need to drink the “Common Corrupted Coating” potion to deal more damage to Corrupted mobs.
- Resistance Consumables
Again, as the name suggests, it deletes the debuffs that your character is affected by when damaged. For example, if you are in the corrupted region, when you drink the “Strong Corruption Tincture” potion, your resistance in these regions will increase. Or it will be deleted completely.
