Crafting and trading are extremely important in New World, and to be successful at either of them you’re going to need a lot of storage space. You can increase your storage in a variety of ways, such as by choosing specific Territory Standing upgrades. In addition to that, you’re also going to need a few bags to increase your inventory capacity. Most of the materials needed to craft bags are pretty easy to come by. However, there is one that’s a bit trickier – the Minor Rune of Holding.
How to Get Minor Rune of Holding in New World
The Minor Rune of Holding is one of many items you can buy from a faction quest giver. So, before you can get your hands on one, you’ll first need to join a faction. Once you’re part of a faction, simply speak to one of its representatives and select the “Buy Rewards” option to purchase the Minor Rune of Holding.
New World has three factions to choose from: The Syndicate, The Covenant, and The Marauders. You can buy this from any faction representative, so feel free to join the one you like best.
With that said, there are a couple of requirements you’ll need to fulfill before you are allowed to buy the rune. Namely, you’ll need 1,000 Faction Tokens and 250 gold to pay for it. You just need to complete a few faction quests to get the tokens, which will also earn you some gold in the process. Simply visit the NPC again once you have enough of both to buy yourself a Minor Rune of Holding.
There are two important items in New World that let you increase your storage space, and you’re going to need a rune for each of them. The first one is the Coarse Leather Adventure’s Satchel and is used to increase your inventory capacity. To build it, you’ll need the Coarse Leather Bag recipe along with 45 x Coarse Leather, 25 x Linen, and 10 x Iron Ingot.
Meanwhile, if you have access to a tier 2 Engineering station, you can also craft a Hewn Log Storage Chest. In addition to one Minor Rune of Holding, you’ll also need 30 Timber, 15 Iron Ingots, and 1 Ash Stain to build the chest.
