New World Silver Ore Locations

Silver ore is a fairly common crafting material you’ll come across often while exploring Aeternum. The material can be used to craft a lot of useful early game items in New World, and it’s relatively easy to farm if you know where to look. While nowhere near as valuable as Starmetal, Silver Ore does fetch a decent price on the market, so it’s a good resource to farm if you want to make a quick buck. Keep reading to find out more about one of New World’s most versatile crafting materials.

There are a couple of requirements you’ll need to keep in mind before you set out to farm Silver Ore. First, you’ll need to be at least mining level 10 before you can acquire it. However, we recommend waiting until reaching level 35 before you try to farm it. Once you reach 35 you’ll be able to track Silver Ore on your compass, which will make finding it so much easier.

Silver Veins can be found all over Aeternum, including the four starting areas: Windswad, Everfall, Monarch’s Bluff, and First Light. The veins are usually found on mountains and around rocky areas. One of the most popular locations is in the wolf den just south of the town of Greenhaven in Windswad. There’s a large concentration of nodes here; however, this is also a hotspot for farming Saltpeter and other materials. This makes the area less than ideal for players who don’t like competition. Ideally, you’ll want to come here late at night or early in the morning when the area isn’t very crowded.

Of course, you’ll also need a pickaxe before you start mining Silver Veins to get to the ore. Unlike Fae Iron, Silver Ore doesn’t require a special pickaxe to mine, so just use whatever you have available.

If you’re looking to farm Silver Ore in some of New World’s less-obvious locations, you may want to check out this map at NewWorldDB.GG, which shows all the nodes in the game. As you can see, the largest concentrations can be found in the center and southern parts of the map. Some of these places are likely to be very crowded, so your best bet is to travel from spot to spot instead of sticking around in the same location for too long.
