NieR Replicant is bringing one of the earliest YoRHa style RPGs to America! This one’s an oldie but a goodie, and the new version brings a lot of quality of life improvements. But, there are still some awkward parts to the RPG that you might run into. One is NieR Replicant‘s inventory limit. You’ll run into it early on, and it’s hard to tell what it means. You can have a nearly empty backpack and still get the inventory limit warning! So, what is the carrying capacity of NieR Replicant?
What Is the Inventory Limit in NieR Replicant?
The inventory limit of NieR Replicant is 10 per item, specifically for healing items. If you find yourself running into the warning, you’re probably just full on healing items. Don’t be afraid to pop them when you’re getting hurt, especially if you run into another one along the way. These healing items are fairly common and are made to keep you alive.
Once you have 10 of these, you can’t carry anything more. You’ll want to make sure you’re using healing items as you get them, and ferrying your inventory back and forth to use materials as you gather them. Thankfully, crafting materials are much easier to keep hold of, and have seemingly no end to their carrying capacity.
If you can’t see what your inventory looks like, play a bit of the main story. Once you meet the floating book, Grimoire Weiss, you’ll get your inventory menus and can see exactly what your inventory looks like. Until then, you’ll only be able to see and interact with your healing items.
If this is not your problem, then you might need to play through the game to get Grimoire Weiss. Then, you’ll be able to diagnose the problem for yourself… Though, 99% of the time, it’s about healing items!
