When you create your character and jump into the sci-fi world of the Outriders, it is a bit slow. Things don’t really start to pick up until you reach the Wreckage Zone. While it is a main quest to reach this location that opens up what you can do in this looter shooter, we will give you all of the details to complete the Mentor quest and make this process as easy as possible so you can get into the meat of the game.
How to Unlock Wreckage Zone in Outriders
To unlock the Wreckage Zone area in Outriders, you need to have a meeting with Grand Marshal Corrigan. You get a lot of background on what’s going on from this talk. You strike a deal to get into the minefield, but you need to find Seth, who was seen entering the Wreckage Zone. Go speak with Jakub, and you will be let in to find your target.
Follow the waypoint and fight enemies; there are quite a few to kill in the area. But once you do this, you will get a key from one of their bodies.
Keep moving forward up the hill to reach the Bunker. More enemies are in sight, so you need to take them down to reach that door. Backup will arrive as you get closer to the entrance, but once you are done, then you can enter.
Once you are through, you will have two waves of monsters attacking you. But once you slay your way through, you will meet Jakub. From here, you need to talk then fast-travel back into town.
Now, you are good to go by being into the Wreckage Zone and opening the door to do more fun things in Outriders.
