Did you want a Pac-Man live-action movie? No? Well, you’re going to get one!
The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop, stating that Bandai Namco will develop the movie with Wayfarer Studios. Founded by Justin Baldoni and Steve Sarowitz, the production house recently received a $125 million investment.
Hollywood Reporter states that the Pac-Man live-action movie “will be based on an original idea from Chuck Williams.” Williams helped to produce another video game adaptation in Sonic the Hedgehog. He also worked as an executive producer on Disney’s Brother Bear.
Time will tell with the Pac-Man live-action movie will be suited for our list of video game movies that don’t suck or our list of the worst video game movies ever.
No cast is announced at this time, but Twitter is having a field day with some fan casting.
