Players can now enjoy playing as some of their favorite golfing professionals in the 2K23 lineup. Or better yet, become a golfing pro themselves. Career Mode Explained – PGA Tour 2K23
In MyCareer mode, the player is made to choose their strengths and weaknesses through archetypes, skills and fittings.
As evident in the name, in MyCareer mode you create your own character to play golf with, so you are unable to play as any of the golfing pros.
Archetypes
The game lets you choose a starting “class” or Archetype as it is called, that lets you choose what playstyle you want to focus on.
The choices for archetypes are:
- Greensman
- Powerhouse
- Rhythm
- Sculptor
- Woodsman
Customization
Players can also customize their character in any way they like, from their appearance to clothes and even to their shoes.
Stats
You can tweak your character’s stats to fit the play style that you want.
Skills
You can also choose the skills to put on your character.
These offer you a broad range of choices that grant you great advantages during your games.
After all the customization is finished, you get to go on a series of golf matches and get to kick start your golfing career.
