To find Amulet Coin, you have to navigate to the West Province (Area 3). There you will find the NPC at the Medali (East) Poke Center who will give you the Amulet Coin after you beat 5 trainers.
The NPC that you are looking for is a Pokemon League rep who is standing in the center of the town, right in front of the Pokemon store.
After you talk with him, he will give you a task to fight 5 trainers which can be easily found around the map.
Once you are done with the 5 trainers, go back to the town and talk again with the NPC, and you will be rewarded with an Amulet Coin.
This item can be held by a Pokemon and it will double any prize money that you receive after win in a single battle.
