PlayStation has many different levels to its subscription service. Naturally, PS Plus Premium offers access to way more games than the other tiers. Though they’re not always available at the start of the month, it’s worth keeping an eye out for when they become available. PlayStation Plus Premium | Games for September 2022
The biggest PS Plus Premium games available for download this September are Rayman Legends, The Sly Cooper Collection, and Deathloop.
Ubisoft is known for a lot of different titles, but one of their more unusual IPs is Rayman. The limbless hero has gone through a lot of transformations but hit it big with Rayman Origins and the sequel Rayman Legends. The game follows Rayman and a ragtag group of friends as they go on a wacky and challenging adventure to stop some evil magicians. It’s a fast-paced and dynamic 2D platformer that you can play alone or with friends. Either way, you’re bound to have a good time and feel accomplished while doing it.
While classic 3D platformers are no longer mainstream, names like Sly Cooper still hold some influence. PlayStation is offering The Sly Collection for download which covers the original trilogy. You mainly play as Sly Cooper, a master thief who steals from villainous or overly wealthy targets for his own reasons. Future games further develop his fellow thieves, Murray the Brawn and Bentley the Brains. You get the chance to play as both with each having their own moves and playstyles to change things up as you go through each of the gang’s adventures.
Sci-fi will not be a popular genre and Deathloop remains fresh in everyone’s minds for a variety of reasons. Though just over a year old, the game has made a big impression for its visuals and animation. You are the assassin Colt, stuck in a time loop and desperate to find a way to break out. You’ll be taking on tons of targets with loads of weapons and powers at your disposal. If you got some time to kill, Deathloop may very well be the game for you.
