Psychonauts 2 Emotional Baggage

To gather emotional baggage in Psychonauts 2, you must find the tag that corresponds with the luggage. That means a suitcase tag will only work for the crying suitcase, the purse with the purse, etc. Then, you must bring the tag to the item and interact with it in order to match the luggage. It’s important to note that not all baggage will be able to be acquired instantly, and you may need to come back for them!

Emotional Baggage is one of the ways for Razputin to rank up over the course of their becoming a brand new Psychonaut. Attaining five of these will get your a Rank, which gets you new unlocks and upgrade points.

That being said, don’t worry if you miss the luggage on your first playthrough! A lot of these pieces are hidden behind new abilities, and you must come back to the mind after you get new upgrades. Progressing the story might unlock more pathways within these minds, so don’t worry about missing something the first time through!

In addition, if you’re having trouble locating specific pieces of luggage, waiting is not the worst idea in the world. Eventually, Razputin will gain access to abilities and pins that are designed to help you locate the last few items in a world. So, if you just can’t find the last item, there are ways to gather them in the future!
