There are tons of different weapons that you can collect in Resident Evil Village, but perhaps the most powerful is the M1851 Wolfsbane Magnum. Not only is this gun stylish, but it’ll also take care of virtually any Lycan that gets in your way. As you progress into the latter portion of the game, you’re going to need all the help you can get, so you’ll want to make sure you get the magnum.

The M1851 Wolfsbane Magnum is located in an abandoned house that can only be reached after you defeat Moreau. Specifically, on your way to fight the boss, you should come across a crank. After you clear Moreau’s Lab and are heading back to the village, you’ll find a locked gate off to your east. Use the crank to open up the gate, and you’ll find the magnum inside the third abandoned house.
If you’re having trouble getting inside the third house, head around back and you’ll find a hole in the foundation that’ll let you inside. Be careful though, as you round the inside corner, there’s an enemy that you’ll need to kill. Once they’re dead, look on the table and you’ll find the magnum location inside of a chest. Simply open it up and it’s all yours — no strings attached!
The magnum is one of the rarest and most powerful weapons in Resident Evil Village, so you’ll definitely want to pick it up and equip it. Just remember, ammo isn’t cheap, so be sure to aim before you shoot! If you’re out of ammo and need more Lei, consider selling a Crystal Torso or two if you haven’t already.
