Resident Evil Village Stake Magnum Location

Resident Evil Village Stake Magnum

There is a massive pile of incredible weaponry in Resident Evil Village. From shotguns to grenade launchers and everything even remotely gun-shaped, you can decimate werewolves and zombies alike. However, there is a level of ridiculousness that you might not expect for some weapons. The stake magnum, or S.T.A.K.E., is one of those absolutely absurd weapons in Resident Evil Village. If you’re like us, you wanted to get your hands on something called the S.T.A.K.E. right away. However, it’s a bit elusive to find.

Where to Find the Stake Magnum in Resident Evil Village

The Stake Magnum is a New Game Plus item in Resident Evil Village that you can purchase from Duke in the new game mode. You must beat the main campaign at least once on any difficulty, and then select New Game Plus mode on the menu afterwards. This game mode includes a bunch of new content, like buffs, enemy placement, and other boons. You also get ridiculous weapons, and the S.T.A.K.E magnum is one of them!

You can purchase the STAKE magnum for 300,000 Lei. The upgrades cost 180,000 and 120,000 for the Extended Mag and Improved Grip, respectively. Otherwise, you can upgrade the basic weapon categories just like with any other firearm.

This is by far the strongest magnum in the game. It outdoes your basic magnum in damage, magazine size, and attack speed. The S.T.A.K.E. is a primo boss killer, and isn’t that bad at clearing adds by itself, either. It doesn’t take much investment to be useful, even on the highest difficulties. With that said, it’s no replacement for an explosive weapon, especially for add clearing.

This magnum is far from the only addition in New Game Plus. You also get to carry your weapons and items from your first campaign, and get some different purchasable items. Based on the difficulty level that you beat the game on, you’ll have even more items you can choose from! The S.T.A.K.E. should be available as long as you complete the game on any difficulty and then get into New Game Plus.
