Always check the settings of the game before playing.

This way you will be able to open the settings each time to improve the performance of the game and familiarize yourself with the controls.

There are 5 sections in the Settings: General, Key bindings, Graphics, Language and Audio. In general, there’s an Auto level-up so you can automatically open the menu to choose your active and passive skills.

You can also enable Damage numbers to check their values while attacking your enemies. There are also Enemy health bars and Elite enemy health bars that will allow you to find out the remaining health of those enemies.

The game also provides the option to customize the size, colour and saturation of the crosshair as it can help you identify where your character is aiming especially when you are using active skills like firebolt.

It would be better for you to get familiar with the basic controls as some games like Soulstone Survivors do not offer a tutorial.

Next is the graphics settings and you need to make sure that your device meets the minimum system requirements so it can run smoothly on your computer.

Encountering stutters and FPS drops especially when you are fighting against a boss can be really annoying. You can consider reducing the Special Effects visibility and turning off Vsync for a better gameplay experience.

Language is where you can set the language for the game according to your preferences.

Last but not least is Audio where you can adjust the volume levels for a more immersive experience.

It is better to have the background music turned on so you can don’t get bored while shooting enemies.

At the start of the game, there is only one character called the Barbarian and three maps are unlocked: The Whispering Grove, The Scorching Valley and The Caves of Dhal Zhog.

After a few runs, you will have enough minor soulstones unlocked to purchase your next character and do some skill tree upgrades.

Within a small span of time, you will have already unlocked all the characters, skill trees as well as weapons of each hero.

That’s everything you need to know to get started in Soulstone Survivors!
