Splinterlands: How to Level up Cards

Splinterlands How to Level up Cards

Splinterlands is an NFT-based card game where you can battle with other players and compete for rewards. It’s a great game that’s similar to other popular crypto games such as Axie Infinity and Gods Unchained.

If you’ve already played other popular card games before, such as Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Hearthstone, and Legends of Runeterra, you should feel right at home. They share some similar mechanics and gameplay with the games mentioned above.

Splinterlands allows you to level up your cards by combining them in order to get better and more powerful cards. The better your cards are, the more your power points increase and can help you easily climb the ranks. The higher the rank, the better the rewards and monetary gain.

This is why combining or upgrading cards in Splinterlands is an essential mechanic for everyone to learn.

The first thing you have to do is log in to your Splinterlands account and head over to the “Cards” tab. This should take you directly to your playable cards. Click on the drop-down menu and select “Owned” to see a list of all the cards you own.

From here, simply pick a card that you want to level up and click on it. Once you have chosen your card, go to the “Stats” tab to determine the level requirements. You’ll need to have extra copies of the same card that add up to the number of cards required to upgrade your chosen card.

Next, go back to the “Cards” tab and click on the plus icon that says “Combine cards.” This should then open a prompt that confirms your card upgrade. Just click on “OK” and wait for the leveling process to finish.

After loading, the card should increase in level, value, and power. This is a great way to easily increase your power points in-game or to simply get more powerful and valuable cards.

Here are a few things that you need to remember before leveling up cards in Splinterlands:

  1. You need to own the card to level it up
  2. You need multiple copies of the same card to level it up
  3. As a card increases in level, its stats, abilities, and power increase with it, as well
  4. This is an irreversible process, so make sure that you actually want to level up the card
  5. The higher the level, the more cards are required to level it up

That was our quick guide to leveling up cards in Splinterlands. It’s a very easy process that takes around 5 minutes to complete. Have fun leveling up your cards!
