Which is Better? Preserves Jar vs. Keg
The Preserves Jar and Keg each have unique crops that work best with them. The Keg tends to sell very high-price items, and works best with Fruits. The Preserves Jar sells lower priced items, but is the king of Fish like Roe and Sturgeon Roe and tends to work well with Vegetables.

Juice and Wine take a bit longer to make than the Preserves Jar items, but multiply the price by a bunch! This makes it worthwhile on items with high base prices. The Keg works best with these fruits and veggies:
