The Affinity system in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a system where you can boost your equipment with bonus stats. The player also gets bonus effects that can help him in combat.
All the gear that the player comes across will either have or don’t have affinity. This guide will explain to the players what Affinity is in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
What Is Affinity? – Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
To start obtaining Affinity in the game you will need to continue progressing into it further. Leveling up jobs, learning new talents from the talents tree, and even equipping gear that has affinity on it will add up points to your character.

Each Job has its own Affinity and the percentage of Affinity you have for that job determines what types of bonuses you get.
The gear with Affinity effects is good because it involves different jobs for your character.
For example, the player shown in the image has 55% Affinity just from the 3 pieces of gear that he is wearing. Mage has 16% Affinity from the Helmet and another 17% Affinity from the berserker job.
All of these percentages will make sure to give you an additional bonus towards your character as you progress through the game.
There is a percentage for Affinity where you get bonuses for:
- 20%
- 30%
- 50%
- 80%
- 120%
- 160%
- 250%
- 400%
You will not get the 400% bonus buff if you have 399%, meaning you need to be in the range of the Affinity cap in order to get its bonus effect.
Making specific combinations for the wanted Jobs will guarantee the player to have a big boost in performance while fighting enemies.
