Terarria‘s inventory system is quite interesting. Compared to other sandbox indie games like Minecraft, your Terraria inventory will fill up constantly. While it may be a hassle to clean out your inventory, there’s a special item that can solve this issue. That item is, of course, the Void Bag. But, how do you make one? Read on to learn more.
How to Make a Void Bag in Terraria
To make the Void Bag in Terraria, you’ll need to collect Bones, Jungle Spores, and either Shadow Scales or Tissue Samples. Once you have all the proper materials, you can craft the Void Bag at a Demon or Crimson Altar.
First, you’ll need 30 Bones. You’ll have to kill Angry Bones, Cursed Skulls, or Dark Casters to get them. These enemies can only be found in the dungeon, which means that you’ll have to take on Skeletron if you want access to it.
Once you collect 30 Bones, you’ll have to collect 15 Jungle Spores. These are found in the underground of the Jungle biome and are easy to spot if you keep your eyes to the ground. The Jungle spores will glow, and harvesting them gives you between two and three spores.
Once you collect all 15 of the Spores, the final item you’ll need is either 30 Shadow Scales, or 30 Tissue Samples. These are found inside of either the corruption or the crimson, although that’s entirely based on what you chose when you started your game. Each of these items is picked up from their naturally spawning enemies. For the corruption, it’s the World Eaters. For the Crimson, it’s dropped by the Creepers.
Once you have all the necessary materials, head to a Demon or Crimson altar to craft your Void Bag. It functions similar to the Money Trough, giving you portable storage you can carry with you wherever you go. However, the bag will pick up items and stash them even when your inventory is full. This is denoted by the purple pickup text you receive when picking up an item that goes into the Void Bag.
