The Outer Worlds Platforms | What’s the best system to play on?

Outer Worlds Platforms

The Outer Worlds has just released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, much to sci-fi and RPG fans pleasure. It’s time to start exploring and discovering the galaxy’s planets and peoples. However, like most titles today, The Outer Worlds is available across a plethora of gaming systems and platforms. Which one is the simplest? What’s the best one for modding? Are there bonuses to buying on some over others? Let’s find out what the best Outer Worlds platforms are.

What is the Best Outer Worlds Platform?

Outer Worlds Platforms

The Outer Worlds is currently available for purchase across three platforms: Windows PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. Essentially, if you’re a gamer with a system, you can find a way to get it. For the Nintendo fans out there, there’s also an imminent Switch release due in some time. Be wary of the Switch version though; the Nintendo Switch doesn’t always play well with graphically demanding titles.

So what about the other Outer Worlds platforms? Well, the Xbox One and Playstation 4 releases are certainly the easiest to get into and play. It’s simply a matter of downloading or purchasing a physical copy with those two systems. Of course, power gamers and enthusiasts won’t get as much out of them. Modding isn’t exactly a strong suit on consoles. Additionally, if you are a Game Pass subscriber, you’ll be able to get The Outer Worlds for free.

However, the system with the most to offer is definitely PC. There’s almost limitless capability in terms of modding, graphics adjustments, and accessibility. Of course, there are several platforms to purchase from on a PC. It’s also available on the Epic Games Store, but that comes with an always-online DRM. Unfortunately, The Outer Worlds will not be available on Steam for at least a year.  So if you’re a Steam only kind of player, you’ll have to branch out a bit if you wanna play anytime soon!
