Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands puts a Dungeons and Dragons spin on the classic Borderlands formula. Players will find themselves working with one another to conquer this fantasy world. However, much like actual games of Dungeons and Dragons, there are plenty of classes to choose from. So, before you start, what’s the best class to begin with? As well as what combo of classes is going to be the most beneficial?
What Is the Best Class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?
Most fans would say that the Spore Warden is the best class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. It’s the perfect class for mid-range combat and meshes well with all the other classes when you finally unlock the Multiclass option later in the game. So pick Spore Warden, and use the best class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to wreak havoc all over the world!
Still, that’s not to say the Spore Warden is to every player’s preference. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands comes with six classes for the player to choose from, and each has its own benefits:
Brr-Zerker: A class focused on melee attacks and frost damage, freezing enemies and keeping them within range of your melee attacks. With its Class Feat Rage of Ancients, you’ll become enraged. In turn doing more melee, and frost damage. Combine that with both the Dreadwind spin ability and the Feral Surge lunge ability and you have a very effective melee build.
Clawbringer: Another melee-focused class whose close range is focused on fire. However, to compensate for not being able to stun enemies, you’re able to throw your hammer at the enemy and recall it with a blast of lightning. With these powers at your disposal, it’s another very effective melee build.
Graveborn: This class now starts to move away from melee and into spellcasting. This class is focused on summoning enemies. As its main passive ability is dealing more damage the more companions you have. With it’s main companion being the Demi-lich, casting spells will cause the companion to cast as well. You’re also able to sacrifice your health for more damage. This makes this class great for people who want to heal through dealing damage.
Spellshot: This mage class isn’t focused on just using the guns found in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. It’s all about combining the weapons with spells to increase damage. Their main ability allows them to stack spell damage onto a gun, which can be repeated if a repeating spell is cast on it. Spellshots can also turn enemies into Skeep for a short period of time, allowing them to stack spell weaving upon damaging the Skeep, as well as letting other players cast spells.
Spore Warden: Considered the Gunslinger class of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The Spore Warden is focused on shooting without running out of ammo. The Spore Warden’s companion is able to revive you when you go down. With the ability to shoot ethereal arrows and summon frost tornados, this class is good for mid-range players fond of gunplay.
Stabbomancer: The assassin class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The Stabbomancer is all about landing critical hits and making sure that you can deal as much damage as possible, while also staying alive.

It’s the perfect class for mid-range combat and meshes well with all the other classes when you finally unlock the Multiclass option later in the game.
