Warframe Argon Crystal | How to Farm

Warframe Argon Crystal - How to Farm

Looter-shooters like Warframe have one element at the core of their gameplay loop: collecting as many resources as possible. One such example is the Warframe Argon Crystal. It’s a crafting resource made particularly scarce because it decays over time. As such, if you don’t use them efficiently, you’ll end up with none. If you’re looking to add some to your inventory, join us in looking at how to farm the Warframe Argon Crystal.

How to Farm Argon Crystals in Warframe

To farm a healthy amount of Argon Crystals, there are a few specific missions and locations worth repeatedly playing through. In terms of mission types, you’ll have the best chance farming Argon Crystals in Exterminate, Survival, and Sabotage modes.

Of course, there’s more to it than that, because these missions will only yield Argon Crystals on specific planets. You’ll want to complete the aforementioned missions on Teshub, Ani, and Stribog if you’re a reasonably low level. For more experienced players, head to Oxomoco, Mot, and Marduk to find Argon Crystals. Once there, trigger the start of Exterminate, Survival, or Sabotage missions. Then kill as many enemies as you can come across. If you’re lucky, some of them will drop the coveted crystals as a reward.

On top of that, a few Capture missions can also boost your chances of unlocking more. Head to the Hepit or Ukko areas, and partake in the Capture quests there while taking out as many enemies as possible. That should help get you some extra crystals.

Once you’ve collected a healthy amount of Argon Crystals from farming these missions repeatedly, you can start to use them in crafting. They’re a key component in armor crafting, with several chassis models such as the Lavos and Limbo chassis requiring them to produce. Equally, a couple of rare weapons require Argon Crystals: namely the Amprex primary weapon, which needs two of them to produce.

Argon Crystals aren’t the easiest resource to farm, but luckily you’ll only need a handful to produce some of the best items in Warframe.
