The brand new Super Mario Bros. Movie is coming from Nintendo and Illumination. Before it releases in theaters on April 7th, 2023, we finally get to see the first full-length official trailer.
The cast for the Super Mario Bros. movie is as follows:

- Donkey Kong – Seth Rogen

- Charles Martinet has an undisclosed role
While the past teaser trailer focused solely on Mario and Bowser, the new full-length trailer lets other cast members show off. We finally get a peek at Luigi, Peach, and Toad’s performances.
The movie’s plot focuses on Bowser attempting to conquer the world, and it’s up to Mario to save the day. There are plenty of cameos and video game references, too, from Super Mario Bros. power-ups to even a Mario Kart-style sequence on Rainbow Road.
Let’s hope it’s better than the live-action Super Mario Bros. movie.
Announced last year, The Super Maro Bros. Movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic. It is written by Matthew Fogel of The LEGO Movie 2 and Minions: The Rise of Gru. The movie is produced by Chris Meledandri, founder and CEO of Illumination, and Shigeru Miyamoto. It is co-financed by Nintendo and Universal Pictures.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie will release in theaters on April 7th, 2023.
