The Blue Hole is overflowing with resources and fish species for Dave the Diver players to explore and interact with. After all, many specific sea creatures need to be caught throughout the sprawling adventures of Dave, members of the Bancho Sushi, and the Sea People.
Whether players are looking to do some work for the Sea People or cook up a particular dish, the Spider Crab is imperative to Dave’s progression in Dave the Diver. Players must discover ways to catch the orange marine animal without relying on traditional methods.
Dave the Diver players can catch a Spider Crab with a Steel Net Gun to yield a 3-star capture. These aquatic creatures are found crawling in the Blue Hole Depths, or 130-250m below the surface level.
They stalk the ground level of the depths during the day, stirred with an awareness of any predator that comes their way. As such, players can use the Steel Net Gun to trap the creature when they get close to it.
Alternatively, if players can’t obtain the Steel Net Gun, they can use a Shovel to attack it. These can be found in the random supply crates within the Blue Hole. A Shovel will generate a downward attack, which must be appropriately positioned above the crab.
Upon acquiring one for the MarinCa smartphone app (card number 0207), Dave can then provide the marine animal, which weighs 7.5 kg, for some preparation. The four recipes that the Bancho Sushi restaurant can put together are the following:
As Dave continues to explore the Blue Hole for more of its creatures, secrets, and everything in between, it’s essential to level up Bancho Sushi staff members to ensure the restaurant continues running a steady line.
