The Paldeck in Palworld registers all Pal data that players collect during their time in the game. From the ordinary, basic Pals to the more formidable Alpha creatures, players will run into various monsters regardless of their journeys.
But once these Pals are under your control, giving them a proper name is only reasonable. Thankfully, Palworld allows its players to rename Pals whenever they have ownership of them.
There are limitations, yet players can name these creatures however they choose. The process is pretty straightforward, and you can learn more about how it works below.0 of 34 secondsVolume 0%
Palworld explorers can rename their Pals by accessing the Party tab in the menu and the Palbox at their base. The Party tab shows the active Pal members on your person, with whom you can take up to five wherever you go.
You can select any of them. As such, after choosing a Pal, you will be automatically taken to their data page. Look to the box with their level and name information — the “Edit” button is your ticket to giving your Pals new identities.
Simply select a Pal from the Palbox with “View Details,” press the “Edit” box next to their gender symbol, and then rename your Pal. You can use up to 24 characters.
This will be especially helpful when you start accumulating multiple Pals of the same breed. At that rate, you can always sell them to a merchant if your Palbox is getting overcrowded.
