Our ranking of the Diablo classes will give you an idea of who’s viable and who is currently lacking. Blizzard has released several balance and tuning adjustments since the game’s launch.
SORCERER
Sorcerer mains aren’t happy with how the class is, and the upcoming patch notes indicate that help isn’t on the way. Despite their effectiveness when it comes to leveling early in the game, Sorcerers are severely lacking in terms of late-game viability.
NECROMANCER
The army of minions makes Necromancers an attractive option for solo play. However, one issue that still plagues the class is a lack of viable minion builds.
ROGUE
Rogues have done nothing but overperform since the game’s beta. They can dish out an impressive amount of damage while combining survivability and maneuverability.
DRUID
At the end of the day, you can’t ignore how good Druids are at the endgame. They are far more effective than anyone else, thanks to damage and survivability, regardless of how you play the game.
WRAPPING UP
Even with the game’s first season launching, Blizzard will continue to balance and tune the game’s classes as needed. We’ll adjust these rankings as often as needed.
