The Patient Bufonid is a frog mount that comes available to players in patch 9.2 in World Of Warcraft Shadowlands. A simple mount to obtain that only requires you to do some quests from a specific NPC for 7 days. Most players have seen this cool-looking frog being used as a mount and want to obtain it. This guide will show you how to obtain the Patient Bufonid in World of Warcraft.
How to Get the Patient Bufonid Mount Guide
The Patient Bufonid Mount is an obtainable mount that you can ride all around the lands of World of Warcraft! It can be found in the Zereth Mortis location, and it can be obtained by finishing the quest “The Patient Bufonid”.
Here you will find an NPC called Avna and her companion Bud. You will see Avna having a quest for you and she will require you to bring her some specific materials.
The quest that Avna will give you is called “The Burrowed Bufonid”. It is a quest that will require some materials to get the Patient Bufonid outside of the water so you can obtain it.
There will be a list of ingredients that you can collect in a day and wait 7 days in order to finish them all. Or you can do them day by day and collect them as Avna gives you the quest.
Day 1
On the first day, you will need to collect 15 Vespoid Honey. You can get Vespoid Honey from Vespoids in the zone that is on the eastern side of the map, outlined with blue colors. It is a regular quest like any other, simply go there, kill the mobs and collect the materials.
Day 2
On the second day, Avna will need you to bring her 30 Tenebrous Ribs. This is an item introduced in Shadowlands. It is an item that is simply gatherable from mobs, if you don’t have it, you can just purchase it from the auction house for some gold.
Day 3
On the third day, you will be needed to collect 200 Shrouded Cloth. This is also an item that you can purchase from the auction house or obtain by killing mobs.
Day 4
On the fourth day, Avna will need you to bring her 10 Elysian Thade. This is a green rarity fish, you can obtain it by fishing or from the auction house.
Day 5
On the fifth day, Avna will give you a task to bring her 5 Protoflesh. This is a new common material that can be collected from Zereth Mortis and it drops from any NPC that is killed in the zone. It is also a purchasable item from the auction house.
Day 6
On the sixth day, Avna will require you to bring her 5 Catalyzed Apple Pie. This is a purchasable item from the Mai Toa NPC in Pilgrim’s Grace. It’s a cheap ingredient to buy, you will just need 3 gold and 75 silver.
Day 7
On the seventh and last day, Avna will require you to bring her 1 Organic Melon. This item can be purchased from the fruit vendor located in the Tazavesh dungeon, the Veiled Market. This dungeon is easy and you can get to the fruit vendor quite easily. 1 Organic Melon will cost you 100 gold.
Once all the ingredients have been given to Avna, you will complete the last quest and the patient Bufonid will come out of the water. Then Avna will give you the last quest to instantly complete and you will collect your Patient Bufonid that you can ride!
