Xbox Is Bringing PC Games to Boosteroid in June

Microsoft announced this morning that PC games from Xbox Studios and Bethesda will be available on Boosteroid starting June 1. This follows last week’s announcement that Xbox would bring PC games to NVIDIA Geforce NOW members. As a result, Boosteroid customers in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, countries across the European Union, and the United States will soon have access to several big titles from the studios.

From June 1, Gears 5, Deathloop, Grounded, and Pentiment will be available to Boosteroid users, and more titles will follow. Members can access games purchased through Steam or the Epic Game Store to start, with support for games purchased through the Microsoft Store coming soon. Additionally, Boosteroid allows players across multiple platforms to enjoy games on Windows, Linux, Android, Android TV, and macOS through an app and even more devices through browsers and webOS.

As with last week’s announcement, the company reiterated that this is part of an ongoing strategy to make their games available to a broader audience. They also re-emphasized that future Activision Blizzard PC games will be available if the proposed acquisition goes through. The deal, which feels like it’s been dragging on for decades, was recently rejected in the UK but approved by the EU. The companies plan to appeal the decision from the UK.
