How to Get Smart Link Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077
The Smart Link Cyberware allows your Cyberpunk 2077 character to wield Smart Weapons. It’s available at select Ripperdocs for a cost of 9,000 Eurodollars. However, you can get it for free at the Ripperdoc recommended by Wakako during The Gig side quest.
The best way to get this upgrade is through Wakako. You’ll first need to complete the mission called The Heist. After that, find Wakako in Westbrook to begin The Gig. During the quest she’ll direct you toward a new Ripperdoc that offers the Smart Link Cyberware. If you followed the events of the quests, you won’t have to pay for the upgrade.
Otherwise, you’ll have to part with your Eurodollars. It will cost 9,000 eddies to buy Smart Link from Watson in Kabuki. This is an expensive upgrade, so it may not be worthwhile for players who aren’t focusing on Smart Weapons. Otherwise, you can still get it free during The Gig in case you want to try them out on occasion.
After you’ve purchased an upgrade, you can equip your Cyberlink by opening the inventory menu screen and navigating to the Cyberlink tab. Once you’ve done that, you should see a skeleton of your character as well as all your areas that you can get Cyberware for. If you have any unused Cyberware, it should say above the box how many are available to equip.
