Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Max Level | What is the Level Cap?

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Level Max

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity level system is quite unique, which has players wondering about the max level. So, you might be wondering what the level cap is and if you can just keep leveling up in the game? Lucky for you, we are going to take a look at how leveling works in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

What is the Max Level in Hyrule Warriors?

level max Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

The level cap in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is Level 255. This is significantly higher than previous installments in the series, where the max level was 99. This was what the hero mode difficulty was set to. This has since been changed in the game, with the newest release updating the cap.

Further, hitting this new level cap will effect your gameplay on the Hero mode difficulty. It makes enemy attacks do less damage and makes them easier to beat, as you are able to do the maximum damage possible in each attack.

This really does take the challenge and fun out of playing hero mode. You would think that the developers would increase the enemies difficulty after increasing the max level.  Let’s just hope that in future updates that developers will make the game a little more challenging for those who have made it to a higher level. Whether it is making tougher enemies or a whole new map/area to explore, only time will tell if this game becomes more challenging.

It’s also possible that the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity level cap could increase again over time if the developers decide to release any type of DLC content. However, we will have to wait and see what plans are in store for the future of the max level.

For now, it should take you a while to reach Level 255 — good luck and happy grinding!
