Lies of P | Is It Coming to Game Pass?

Lies of P - Is It Coming to Game Pass?

Fans of the Soulslike genre are anticipating a unique experience with NEOWIZ’s Lies of P. The game takes the tale of Pinnochio in a different direction, one far more sinister and brooding. Instead of the expected safety net that comes with the Pinocchio narrative, NEOWIZ is introducing the familiar elements of a Souslkike game into the mix. This comes in the form of a dark world, and Xbox players will experience it when it releases in August of 2023. Furthermore, will Game Pass owners get to dive into the action of Lies of P from Day One? We know the answer, for we mustn’t lie!

Will Lies of P Arrive on Game Pass?

Soulslike and Pinnochio fans can rejoice, for Lies of P will be a Day One title for the Game Pass service. It will release along with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC versions around the same launch window for August 2020.

At the time of this writing, there is no official release date for the new game by NEOWIZ. The Release Month trailer (video above) announced the aforementioned release window while showcasing a couple of characters in Lies of P.

It’s actually quite welcoming to see a NEOWIZ game appear in the Game Pass library. They don’t have many of their titles that are readily available, with Unsouled being the sole exception. Perhaps the inclusion of Lies of P will steer the way to allow more NEOWIZ games to join. Of course, this assumption is supported by the anticipation surrounding the new game. Only time will tell, though.

As for now, Game Pass owners can happily expect Lies of P to arrive as soon as it officially launches. You can wishlist the title now, but we recommend following the Twitter account for Lies of P to stay up-to-date with any changes. We know that it’s coming in August of this year, so perhaps the official date will be announced before the summer begins.
