Metroid Dread amiibo Unlocks - All Unlockable Items

Metroid Dread is out now, and gamers using Metroid amiibo figurines are finding several ways to change their experience. Using Nintendo’s proprietary figures grants special in-game boosts across a range of Nintendo titles. In the case of Metroid Dread, it’s helping to provide a much-welcomed difficulty nerf during the punishing boss battles. If you’re considering purchasing Metroid Dread amiibo figures and want to know what they’ll unlock, we’re here to tell you.

Good news: Any and all Metroid amiibo figures will unlock in-game boosts in Metroid Dread. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a generic Metroid one, or a Samus figure from Super Smash Bros. They all grant you rewards – though they vary based on the figure.

Here are all of the amiibo item unlocks in Metroid Dread:

  • Metroid Dread Samus – permanent extra energy tank
  • Metroid Dread E.M.M.I. – permanent Missile+ tank
  • Super Smash Bros. Samus – daily energy refill
  • Metroid series Samus – daily energy refill
  • Super Smash Bros. Zero Suit Samus – daily energy refill
  • Super Smash Bros. Dark Samus – daily missile ammo restock
  • Metroid series Metroid – daily missile ammo restock

As you can see, there are a range of items available when you link up your Metroid amiibo figures. Of course, the boosts provided by the Metroid Dread figures are the most effective of all. They’ll increase your firepower and health permanently, which is a huge boost to your strength. In the most difficult battles, that extra dose of health or weaponry could be the difference between life and death.

Of course, the other boosts are useful too, especially for more casual Metroid players. If you only play in one session a day, then the daily wait time shouldn’t be a problem. The extra ammo and energy will also give you the jolt needed to tackle Dread‘s toughest enemies, though its impacts are less permanent.

With your amiibo items unlocked, beating the game should be a less painful experience. Enjoy!
