Getting all of your ingredients is so crucial to your New World experience. Thankfully, the Medicinal Reagents that you need aren’t too hard to find. Each medicinal reagent is usually connected to a plant of some kind, such as a Lifebloom Stem, Leaf, or Flower. As you ascend up the tiers, you’ll need harder-to-find materials, and so you’ll need to hunt stronger monsters or have better searching stats.

Medicinal Reagents

Below are the current medicinal reagents available in the game:

  • Tier 1: Bulrush Cob, Hyssop
  • Tier 2: Lifebloom Stem, Glowing Mushroom Cap, Platecap Flesh, Sporebloom Fruit
  • Tier 3: Lifebloom Leaf, Gleaming Lodestone, Sculpin Scales, Halibut Viscera
  • Tier 4: Lifebloom Flower
  • Tier 5: Poison Sac, Lifemoth Eyes, Azoth Water

As you ascend through the potions, you may notice you’ll need new ingredients. These tend to be mob drops that you can find through exploration and crafting. And you can get water from wells and freshwater, because it’s just water. Surprisingly, you only need water if the potion is strong enough.
