Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness | How to unlock

Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness

Remnant: From the Ashes gives players a variety of weapons, skills, and traits, making the game dynamic and unique for each individual. Some of the traits help with offense, providing attack buffs and such, while others increase players’ defensive capabilities. However, Swiftness is a trait that helps with offense and defense, as it increases movement speed. Here’s how to unlock the Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness trait.

How to unlock the Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness Trait

Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness

While most games in the post-apocalyptic genre allow players to unlock skills and traits through a leveling system, Remnant: From the Ashes makes players find and unlock traits across its four separate worlds. This approach to trait development can leave players in the dark though, hiding otherwise useful in-game perks. The steps necessary for some of the unlocks are rather opaque.

The Swiftness trait is a prime example of a useful trait that many players may be completely unaware of, due to the obscure puzzle surrounding it. Swiftness can be obtained in Remnant: From the Ashes on Yaesha, a jungle world inhabited by primal goat-like creatures.

Throughout Yaesha, players will find multiple sets of bells arranged in a semicircular fashion. Each set will have five bells, each sounding a different pitch once shot. They certainly stick out, but figuring out what to do with them isn’t so obvious. They are actually used to unlock the Swiftness trait.

If players strike the bells in a certain order, they’ll be rewarded with the Swiftness trait. The correct order is based on the Song of the Guardian. The entire song has to be played, save for the second line.

For players that don’t exactly have perfect pitch or years of bell playing experience, here’s the correct sequence of bells to play, numbered 1 to 5 from left to right in order to unlock the Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness trait.

1-1-3-4-1-1-3-2

Once the bells have been played in the proper order, you will have unlocked the Remnant: From the Ashes Swiftness trait.
