Call of Duty will soon be releasing the latest game in their series with Call of Duty Vanguard debuting on November 5th. The first-person shooter, like many of the others, will take place during World War II.

To keep players interested, Activision and Sledgehammer Games will be throwing in some interesting quirks. According to a trailer recently dropped by the developer and the publisher COD: Vanguard will feature the undead.

In the game, players will be battling Nazis who are willing to pull out all the stops to defeat the Allied Powers. PC Gamer explains:

“The trouble begins with Oberfuhrer Wolfram von List, who decides it would be a good idea to connect with a supernatural presence in order to bring ‘an army of the dead’ into the mortal realm.”

And like in Game of Thrones, the zombies will create quite a challenge for players. While gamers will have access to the full might of the Allied powers, there are a tremendous amount of undead warriors for them to face off against.

During a recent New York Comic-Con panel, the writers of the game revealed that they see Vanguard as a trilogy. Including mass numbers of zombies for players to face off against is a good way for the makers of the game to get there.

The game will be available on a number of gaming systems, including Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC systems.
