Conan Exiles Hardened Leather | How to Get

Conan Exiles Hardened Leather

The ability to hunt and destroy a large variety of creatures is important in Conan Exiles. You collect a ton of stuff, so you will have plenty of raw materials to use. However, as you travel the world, you might find that some recipes require more than just raw materials. You’ll also need to put some of your materials together! Hardened Leather in Conan Exiles is surprisingly hard to patch together, and you’ll be able to really expand your repertoire if you know how to use this leather effectively.

How to Get Hardened Leather in Conan Exiles

Conan Exiles Hardened Leather

In order to craft Hardened Leather in Conan Exiles, you’ll need to get a Tanner’s Table by collecting 100 Wood. Then, you’ll need Leather x5, Thick Leather x2, Alchemical Base x2, and Oil x5. Put all of that together on the Tanner’s Table for eight seconds to create Hardened Leather. This leather is used for an absolutely absurd number of armors and more types of tanneries.

The Tanner’s Table is somewhat simple to craft, but the different things you’ll need for Hardened Leather are kind of strange. Leather can be obtained by using Animal Parts on the Tannery Table. Thick Leather will require higher-level animals, like Elephants or Green Dragons, in order to obtain. Alchemical Base requires Silver Dust x2, Gold Dust x1, and Ichor x2. Finally, Oil will require a Fluid Press as well as a ton of seeds… Or a Level 3 Alchemist with Bark x1 and Ichor x1.

Hardened Leather is used for most armor sets in the entire game, especially for higher-level armors! You’ll need strong armor benches to make this, like an Armorer’s Bench, Forge of the First Men, or a Garrison Armorer’s Bench. For each piece of armor, you’ll need a lot of leather, 20 of them for each! You’ll want to gather a massive storage of Hardened Leather if you want to create the endgame armor of your dreams.
