Brimstone in Conan Exiles is a vital resource needed in the production of steel. However, the stuff isn’t exactly growing on trees. This guide will show you several locations where you can find Brimstone.
How to Get Brimstone in Conan Exiles
Brimstone can be found in a number of different locations, but it’s most commonly located in the central north part of the map. Here’s a list of all the locations and coordinates where you can get Brimstone:
- Executioner’s Cave: -2872, 2184
- Northeastern Oasis: -2256, 721
- Sinner’s Refuge: -3155, 1704
- Gallaman’s Tomb: -3174, 1900
Along with these named locations, there are also three monsters in the game that drop Brimstone as loot. If you check the list below, we will have both the monsters and their respective locations listed.
- Rocknose: Area around The Slaveway:
- Dragon: Unliving city
- Living Mountain: Fingerfang Rock and Lake watch
Once you have Brimstone, you can combine it with Tar to make SteelFire. This can then be combined with Iron ingots to make Steel bars. You will also need a Cauldron, Furnace, and a Tannery before you can start making Steel Bars. Check the list below to find the materials needed to craft both.
Resources Required for A Tannery
In short, to craft a Tannery you are going to need the feat unlocked beforehand.

- 160 Wood
- 38 Bark
- 20 Twine
Resources Required for A Firebowl cauldron
To craft The Firebowl Cauldron you are going to need to have the level 15 Iron tools feat unlocked.
- 50 Iron
- 20 Twine
Resources Required for A Furnace
In order to craft a Furnace, you have to have the Stone tools feat unlocked.
- 500 Stone
As a side note, it will cost two Tar and one Brimstone to create one Steel Fire, so make sure you get a lot of both. Creating one Steel bar will cost five Iron bars and one Steel Fire, so get a lot of Iron bars before you start crafting.
